Peace Building and Analysis Workshop

The Bougainville Women's Federation ended its 5 days Peace Building and Peace Analysis Modules (Workshop) at Lenokei, Buin District.

This workshop cartered for young women from Torokina, Bana & Buin districts.

Unfortunately Siwai missed out due to communication issues but will attend in Central Region workshop, January next year.

This training targets young women from remote areas of Bougainville.

The roll out of these workshops will.continue starting with Central, from January onwards next year North Region (Tinputs, Kunua & Selau/Suir) and Buka, Nissan & Atolls.

We see the importance of engaging our young women & youths of Bougainville in PEACE BUILDING.

They need to start creating and building the peaceful and secured foundation and prepare themselves to become responsible citizens and leaders of Bougainville because they see that Peace is the Foundation of Development.

BWF mentors and suppots young women leaders to sustain women's leadership in Bougainville. We acknowledges the partnership and networking with Sr Lorraine, Nazareth Centre for Rehabilitation Centre and the support we get from Conciliation Resources.
